Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani receives envoys

Islamabad: The Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Pakistan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, this week received some Ambassadors and Diplomats accredited in Islamabad in his office at the Embassy.

“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed,” the Qatari embassy said in a statement.

The upcoming FIFA World Cup also came under discussion. With one month to go until the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Qatar Tourism has revealed new hotels and resorts, tourism attractions and entertainment destination that have just opened or will opens soon for fans to enjoy during the tournament.

This unprecedented year of development represents a major milestone in Qatar’s emergence as a tourist destination, with the country seeking to welcome six million visitors a year by 2030.
