British High Commissioner Jane Marriott meets DPM Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar this week received British High Commissioner Jane Marriott at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the evolving regional situation, with a focus on ongoing diplomatic efforts amid tensions. Senator Dar highlighted Pakistan’s continued role in facilitating engagement between parties and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as the key path to the peaceful resolution of disputes.

British High Commissioner Jane Marriott appreciated Pakistan’s facilitative efforts and expressed support for its role in bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table. She conveyed appreciation from the UK side for Pakistan’s contributions toward de-escalation and lasting peace in the region.
