Aseefa Bhutto not to draw salary, allowances as MNA

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has decided not to draw salary and allowances as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA).

In a letter to Secretary General National Assembly Secretariat, Aseefa stated that she would not draw the pay and allowances from National Assembly of Pakistan.

Aseefa, youngest daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari and sister of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, further wrote in the letter to Secretary General National Assembly Secretariat that no claim could be made and if any claim has been made, the same may cancelled/withdrawn.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was elected from NA-207 Nawabshah unopposed on the seat vacated by her father Asif Ali Zardari after being as elected as President of Pakistan. She has the status of First Lady of Pakistan.
