French Ambassador Nicolas Galey lauded for strengthening Pakistan-France ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has appreciated the contribution of outgoing French Ambassador Nicolas Galey to further strengthening Pakistan-France relations.

Ambassador Galey paid a farewell call on the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister this week as he completed his diplomatic assignment in Pakistan.

During the meeting, Dar congratulated the French envoy on the completion of his tenure and acknowledged his efforts towards deepening bilateral ties between Islamabad and Paris.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister also emphasised the need to further expand Pakistan-France cooperation, stressing the importance of sustained high-level exchanges, dialogue and engagement on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

Dar said continued interaction and regular consultations would help consolidate the positive momentum in relations between the two countries and create new avenues for cooperation.

Ambassador Nicolas Galey thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister as well as the Government of Pakistan for the support and cooperation extended to him throughout his tenure.

The farewell meeting provided an opportunity to acknowledge Ambassador Galey’s diplomatic contribution and reaffirm Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen its longstanding relationship with France.

Both sides underscored the importance of continued engagement and dialogue in advancing bilateral cooperation and addressing shared regional and international concerns.
