
EU envoy Riina Kionka wins hearts by playing Pakistan’s national anthem on Independence Day

Islamabad: The European Union’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Riina Kionka, struck the right chord with Pakistanis on the country’s 78th Independence Day through a heartfelt and unique gesture.

In a video message shared on social media, Dr. Kionka not only extended warm Independence Day greetings but also played the tune of Pakistan’s national anthem on trumpet, showcasing love, respect, and friendship for the people of Pakistan.
“With Team Europe, we warmly congratulate Pakistan on its 78th Independence Day. This is a day of joy, freedom, and hope,” she said.
