Kazakhstan, Pakistan keen on strengthening interparliamentary cooperation

Islamabad: The ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Sardar Syedaal Khan Nasar this week, to discuss a wide range of issues on bilateral and regional agenda.

During the meeting, ambassador Kistafin informed about the planned events for the current year, emphasizing the high dynamics of Kazakh-Pakistani relations.

In turn, Pakistani Senate Deputy Chairman highlighted the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries and expressed deep interest in further expanding cooperation across the entire spectrum of the bilateral agenda.

As a result of the negotiations, it was agreed to hold events this year with the participation of the upper chambers of the parliaments of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan and Pakistan had pledged to deepen bilateral ties.
