High Commissioner Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri congratulates Pakistani cadet Afaq Mashwani on securing Maj Gen Finley Award 2024
Canberra: Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri this week congratulated Pakistani cadet Afaq Mashwani on securing Maj Gen Finley Award 2024 upon completing his training at Royal Military College of Australia.
“Pakistani cadet Afaq Mashwani has secured Maj Gen Finley Award 2024 upon completing his training at Royal Military College of Australia. The award is granted to the overall best cadet. This is the first time a Pakistani cadet has achieved this honor,” the envoy highlighted.
Earlier, Pakistani cadet Afaq Mashwani brought laurels to the nation from the Royal Military College of Australia.
Proving his mettle in training, the cadet secures the Maj Gen Finley Award-2024 upon successful completion of military training.
This award is granted to the overall best cadet in the military. This is the first time that a Pakistani cadet has achieved this award.
It speaks volumes of the hard work and dedication of the cadet, as well as his alma mater, PMA, which groomed him so well in the early months of his training.
He hails from the 147 PMA Long Course. He belongs to the Upper Dir in Pakistan. His father is a retired judge, his mother is a housewife.
