Nawaz Sharif faced ‘bogus’ cases: Maryam Nawaz
Jalalpur Jattan: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said this week that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif faced “bogus” cases.
Addressing the public gathering in Jalalpur Jattan, Maryam said: “Nawaz Sharif was allowed to contest just once every 22 years. Those who are causing uproar about the level playing field should know that Nawaz Sharif had to live in exile for 11 years.”
She took a jibe at the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, saying, “If only one person will get the facilities in the jail, then the rest of the prisoners are also having the right to get the facilities behind the bars.”
Recalling Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country, Maryam said: “It had been said that Nawaz Sharif’s politics were over. When Nawaz Sharif made his way to the country, I cried with joy.”
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday that the country will lead to prosperity under the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam had presided over the meeting of the PML-N’s youth and women wing. On this occasion, the discussions were made in line with the preparations for the upcoming general elections.
The PML-N stalwart had instructed the party workers to ensure the completion of the organisation at the ward level.
Expressing her thoughts, Maryam was of the view that her party is the biggest of all the political parties in terms of representing the youth and women. ‘’We will continue to ensure the representation of youth and women at every level,’’ she said.
She vowed that the PML-N will provide the ‘’historical package’’ to women and youth in a bid to create better employment opportunities and enhance skills.
