Maryam prioritises youth uplift
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Chief Organiser and Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz said this week that the development of the youth of Balochistan is the highest priority of her party.
“The PML-N attaches great importance to Balochistan and its people, as Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have always worked for the development of the province,” Maryam said during a meeting with a delegation of the National Party led by its President and former chief minister Abdul Malik Baloch.
NP Vice President and former senator Kabir Ahmed, Secretary General Jan Buledi, Senator Tahir Bizenjo, Senator Akram, Ayub Malik and NP Punjab President Aslam Baloch were present. Maryam welcomed the NP delegation and discussed the overall political situation of the country in the meeting.
The PML-N SVP said, “The development of Balochistan means the development of Pakistan.” She said that ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor, Gwadar Port, Western Route and other projects would become the source of development of Balochistan. “The development of the youth of Balochistan is first priority.”
The party’s chief organiser said that under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, the youngsters would get opportunities to advance their careers in education, agriculture, industry and IT sectors, as well as in sports.
