Pakistan deeply concerned about ongoing conflict in Ukraine: Hina Rabbani Khar

Rawalpindi: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar said this week that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

She expressed these views during a ceremony held in connection with handing over humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine at Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi.

The Minister, while expressing deep sympathies with people of Ukraine, said that Pakistan supports early diplomatic solution to the issue as it has implications on security and economy of the world.

The Minister said developing countries such as Pakistan are facing food and energy crises due to Ukraine crisis.

Hina Rabbani Khar said Pakistan had sent fifteen tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian people including food and medicine and today is sending second consignment of relief goods.

She expressed the hope that dialogue diplomacy will prevail and sufferings of Ukrainian people will come to an end.
