Royal fans have noticed that Princess Charlotte bears a striking resemblance to one particular relative in a Christmas family photo released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Charlotte is sitting next to her father Prince William in the photograph, which was taken in Jordan earlier this year and featured on the family’s Christmas card.
“Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card,” the Duke and Duchess captioned as they posted the photo on social media.
Fans were quick to note in their reactions following the photo’s release, that the young Royal looked a lot like her great grandmother, the Queen, and even mirrored Her Majesty’s favoured pose by coincidence, reports OK.
“What a handsome family. You can really see Queen Elizabeth in Princess Charlotte,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Charlotte is such cute princess, she is a the mini version of the Queen,” a second follower commented, while another added: “Charlotte is the image of the Queen. Adorable.”
The Mountbatten-Windsor family photo was released days after Kate presented at charity carol event, Together at Christmas, held at Westminster Abbey in honour of those who have given their support to communities in need during the pandemic.
Prince William showed up in support of his wife hosting the concert – however the public missed out on seeing the couple’s three children, who did not appear at the show.
