
Bilawal Bhutto advocates stronger Pakistan-US public relations

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said this week that public relations between Pakistan and the United States should be strengthened.
Bilawal Bhutto, while talking to Pakistani media representatives in Washington after attending the national prayer breakfast hosted by President Donald Trump, said that he had important meetings with leaders from around the world including American officials at the breakfast ceremony.
He said that the most important personalities from around the world were present at the National Prayer Breakfast ceremony in Washington, and the American President addressed the ceremony.
Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto had also addressed the National Prayer Breakfast event. He said that public relations between Pakistan and the United States should be strengthened and religion should be used to unite instead of divide.
Addressing the ceremony at the National Prayer Breakfast, Bilawal said that the Prayer Breakfast is a great opportunity for interfaith harmony. He also met with members of Congress. Now he is no longer the foreign minister, he held all the meetings in a personal capacity.
He further said that President Trump attended the ceremony, people from all over the world participated, he also delivered the closing speech.
Bilawal said that people should be treated equally, every Muslim is a follower of Jesus Christ and this is not a national prayer ceremony but a global prayer ceremony.
He further said that instead of dividing religion, we should establish unity, there is scope for more work with Pakistanis living in the US, interfaith programmes are important to save society from division.
