Chinese company visits CDA to discuss Islamabad development
Islamabad: A high-ranking delegation from the China State Construction Engineering Company (CSCEC) made an important visit to the headquarters of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad this week.
The purpose of this visit was to engage in detailed discussions concerning various infrastructure development projects within the city.
During their visit, the delegation received comprehensive briefings on both ongoing and upcoming projects in Islamabad, which encompass areas such as transportation systems, public buildings, and broader urban development initiatives. These projects are integral to the city’s growth and modernization.
Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the Chairman of CDA, took the opportunity to express his deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions made by the CSCEC to Pakistan’s infrastructure landscape.
He particularly highlighted the company’s efficiency in completing projects within the stipulated timeframes while maintaining a high standard of transparency throughout the process.
The CSCEC, recognized globally as one of the largest construction and investment entities, has an impressive track record in Pakistan. Their portfolio includes landmark projects such as the Sukkur-Multan Motorway, the Arfa Karim Tower in Lahore, and their involvement in the JF-17 Thunder aircraft project.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation conveyed a strong interest in furthering their involvement with CDA’s projects, offering expertise in areas ranging from design and construction to securing funding.
Both sides engaged in productive discussions, exploring the various stages of project development and identifying potential avenues for collaboration and innovation.
