Aseefa Bhutto Zardari’s first address in NA comprehensive, impactful: Umar Rehman Malik

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Umar Rehman Malik this week said that PPP’s Aseefa Bhutto Zardari’s first address in the National Assembly was comprehensive and impactful.

“Bibi @AseefaBZ’s first speech in the @NAofPakistan was comprehensive and impactful, marked by a palpable sense of dedication, vision, and passion for serving the country and its people. Truly inspiring,” he posted on X.

Umar Rehman Malik added: “Wishing her the best for the future in navigating every challenge with wisdom and grace. May her efforts bring about meaningful change, comfort, and hope to the hearts of the people.”

Earlier, First Lady of Pakistan and PPP leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari took exception to Budget 2024-25, saying that the people of Pakistan deserved a better financial plan for the next fiscal year.

Aseefa was recognised as the first lady earlier this year in March and was later elected as the member of parliament on the Shaheed Benazirabad seat, NA-207, which was vacated by her father, Asif Ali Zardari on becoming the president of Pakistan.

In her remarks, Aseefa said it was an emotional moment for her as she addressed the assembly for the first time.
