Islamabad: The embassies of Portugal and Brazil in Pakistan this week hosted an impressive reception here to celebrate and promote the rich heritage of the Portuguese language and its cultural impact.
The event was supported by Instituto Guimaraes Rosa and Instituto Camoes as the World Portuguese Language Day is being celebrated across the globe.
The events featured prominent figures such as Professor Guiomar de Grammont, a distinguished scholar, who was accompanied by Olyntho Vieira, the Ambassador of Brazil, and Frederico Silva, the Ambassador of Portugal.
