Serving the Pakistani community in Australia top priority: Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri

Canberra: Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said this week that serving the Pakistani community in Australia was the top priority of the Pakistani High Commission under his leadership.

“To facilitate over 3,000 strong Pakistani Community in Australia’s Northern Territory, the High Commission for Pakistan, Canberra has established a Consular Camp at Darwin,” the envoy tweeted. He added: “Serving the Pakistani community remains our top most priority.”

Home to nearly two thousand Australian-Pakistanis, the Northern Territory has one of the highest youth population ratios in Australia. With Tropical Climate, strategically important geo-political location, magnificent skies/sunsets, and history of indigenous Australians and Makassan Traders dating back to over 40,000 years, The Northern Territory has a lot to offer.

Pakistani High Commission aims to foster better understanding and promote a positive interaction amongst the members of the Pakistani Community living in the NT.
