New German Ambassador to Islamabad visited Turkmenistan Embassy

Islamabad: The new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Pakistan, Ms. Ina Lepel, visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad this week, where she met with Ambassador Atajan Movlamov.

As reported on the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, the parties expressed their commitment to ensuring stability, strengthening peace and expanding regional cooperation.

The Turkmen diplomat briefed Ms. Ina Lepel on the infrastructure and energy projects initiated by Turkmenistan with the participation of Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasizing their potential to promote economic growth and regional cooperation.

Ina Lepel acknowledged the strategic importance of these initiatives and noted that German companies are actively exploring opportunities to contribute to their implementation.

The meeting ended with a mutual expression of interest in further strengthening bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
