Blue Bulgaria coalition’s Tsveta Kirilova on solutions in energy sector
Sofia: In a position to BTA, Blue Bulgaria Coalition’s top-of-the-list candidate in Haskovo (Southeastern Bulgaria) Tsveta Kirilova said that there is governance and communication chaos when it comes to the green transition. By now, Bulgaria should have thought about and found a solution for its national energy security and independence, she argued.
“If not for the neglected innovative achievements of the Bulgarian team that created a prototype, a technology for extracting brown gas from seawater, we could have solved to a large extent the energy problems in Bulgaria and we would not have these unsolvable headaches,” Kirillova pointed out. “Today we would not be hearing that the workers there [the coal regions of Bulgaria] are struggling for their bread and trying to save their jobs, because they would already have new and secure jobs. We would not have heard statements like, ‘I am going to pick strawberries in England and I am a qualified specialist in the energy sector,'” Kirillova pointed out.
“This is what the criminal negligence of the state government towards the people and their future has led to, not only in the energy sector, but in all other areas of the state. More and more individuals are entering our politics who have no interest in solving problems. It is important for them to absorb multibillion-dollar sums without doing anything for the development of the community, while watching poverty engulf our entire country. But we, the conscious and responsible Bulgarians, can no longer tolerate the quality of governance in Bulgaria to be at this low level,” Kirillova underscored.
