Denmark updates income levels for foreign work permit applicants

Copenhagen: Denmark has applied new income levels for foreigners applying for a residence and work permit for work purposes from October 1, 2024.

The update aims to ensure that foreigners receive salaries in line with the Danish standards.

Those who apply for a work permit before September 30 will have their application assessed based on the statistics for the third quarter of 2024.

The Danish authorities have announced that the country will enforce a new income requirement from October 1, 2024, for foreign nationals applying for a work permit to take up employment in the country.
