High Commissioner Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri all praise for Pakistani-Australians
Canberra: Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri lauded the contribution by Pakistani-Australians in their adopted country as they joined hands with the Pakistani High Commission for a free vaccination campaign.
“We (Pakistani High Commission) organised two free Vaccination Clinics for Flu and COVID 19. The Clinics for the Diplomatic Community were organised in collaboration with the wonderful Pakistani Diaspora in Canberra,” he posted on X.
This health initiative, supported by Amcal+ and TerryWhite Chemmart, received an overwhelming response from the diplomatic community.
Diplomats from various High Commissions and Embassies participated in the vaccination clinics.
They commended the High Commission for Pakistan for its proactive approach, noting its importance in fostering a healthy and safe environment for their families and colleagues.
The High Commission for Pakistan was pleased with the large turnout and positive feedback received from the participants. “We are delighted to have organized these vaccination clinics for the diplomatic community. This initiative reflects our dedication to supporting the health and safety of the diplomatic community. It is particularly important that this initiative was made possible with the help of Pakistani Diaspora in Australia”, said the High Commissioner, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri in his remarks.
He also appreciated the efforts of Pakistani-Australian pharmacists and entrepreneurs Waqas Ashraf and Nilum Ashraf in organizing the vaccination clinics.
“The High Commission for Pakistan extends its thanks to all who attended and supported this event, particularly Amcal+ and TerryWhite Chemmart for their collaboration. The High Commission looks forward to organizing similar events in the future,” said an official statement by the Pakistani High Commission.
