Umar Rehman Malik lauds Sindh govt’s decision to start Peoples Bus Service in Mirpurkhas

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Umar Rehman Malik this week lauded the Sindh government’s decision to start Peoples Bus Service in Mirpurkhas.
“Exciting news for the people of Mirpurkhas. Today, the Sindh Government, in line with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision, has inaugurated the Peoples Bus Service. The service will greatly benefit working folks, women, and students by offering safe and convenient access to their workplaces, markets, schools, colleges & universities,” he said in a statement.
The PPP leader added: “Looking ahead, every city in Sindh will soon enjoy its own Peoples Bus Service, demonstrating PPP’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the common man.”
Earlier, Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport, Mass Transit, Excise and Taxation, Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated the Peoples Bus Service in Mirpurkhas.
Memon expressed his optimism that the Peoples Bus Service would soon be accessible in every district of the priovince. He specifically mentioned the initiative of launching Pink Bus, exclusively for woman in Karachi, a unique facility that not available even in many countries.
The minister disclosed plans to expand the Pink Bus Service to two new routes. He added that plans are underway to launch orange and yellow bus services, and inter-city bus services this year for the convenience of general public.
