20, 000 China-made motorcycle, e-bikes to be provided to students under CM plan

Lahore: Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz this week inaugurated a project to provide 20,000 China-made motorcycles and Electric-bikes through the Chief Minister Youth Initiative for students across the province.

Thanks to this effort by CM Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, students now have the opportunity to acquire motorcycles and e-bikes through convenient interest-free monthly installment plans.

Male students can opt to pay Pakistani Rs 11,676 per month, while female students can avail themselves of the offer at Rs 7,325 per month.

The project, set to be implemented in phases, will begin in key cities such as Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.

The distribution of motorcycles will be based on the population density of each district, ensuring fair access for students throughout the region.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must be enrolled as graduate college students in public or private universities.

They should be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license or learner’s permit for motorcycles under the installment plan.

The deadline for submitting applications to benefit from the motorcycles is April 29, 2024.

The applicants can apply through the official website of the Punjab government.

Under the plan students will receive 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes.
