
Ambassador Marilina Armellin greets Muslims on Eidul Fitr

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Marilina Armellin this week greeted the Muslims across the world on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
In a message, she said the Eid teaches sacrifice and tolerance. “I send my warm greetings to Muslims in Pakistan, Italy and all around the world who are celebrating Eidul-Fitr,” she added.

Eidul Fitr is the day of thanksgiving and joy. It is a festival that signifies the completion of an act of duty and devotion. It teaches ‘real happiness results from performing one’s duty and making sacrifices for a noble objective.

She said the Italian Muslim community plays an important role in strengthening the diverse social fabric. “On behalf of my colleagues at the Italian embassy, I wish all those celebrating, Eid Mubarak,” the envoy said.
