Umar Rehman Malik says emotions ran high when Bilawal Bhutto spoke at Liaquat Bagh rally

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Umar Rehman Malik said this week that emotions ran high as PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke at Liaquat Bagh rally – the site where his mother Benazir Bhutto was assassinated more than 16 years ago.

“Another successful gathering at Shaheed Mohtarma #BenazirBhutto’s memorial Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi. It was an emotional day, seeing Bilawal Bhutto Zardari return to speak to the people, from the same place that the great Shaheed Mohtarma #BenazirBhutto gave her last address,” he posted on X.

He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s unwavering resolve and concern for the well-being of Pakistan and its people by travelling across the country to stay close to the people, shows his commitment and determination to fulfill the dream of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto which she promised in her last speech.

Umar Rehman Malik said no party can compete with PPP in public contact and motivation as PPP has always believed in people’s power.

“Both Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, following the footsteps of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, are visiting every city and town from Khyber to Karachi, GB to Balochistan and mobilizing people for their basic rights, their empowerment and wellbeing of the country,” he commented.

He added: “To make the Pakistan that was dreamed by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Quaid-e-Awam ZA Bhutto Shaheed and Daughter of the East Shaheed Mohtarma BenazirBhutto.”
