Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese praises contribution of Pakistanis in Italy

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese this week praised the contribution of Pakistanis in Italy.
In a recent media interaction, he said Italy was home to a significant and growing Pakistani community, estimating the population at around 200,000, with 140,000 having official documentation.
The envoy said this indicates a robust presence of Pakistanis contributing to the cultural diversity of Italy.
Reports said approximately 10,000 Pakistani migrants have invested in homes in Italy.
The Italian authorities interpret this as a significant signal, suggesting a strong desire among the Pakistani community to establish a long-term presence in the country.
This multifaceted narrative showcases not only the numerical strength of the Pakistani diaspora in Italy but also their proactive efforts in cultural exchange and commitment to building a lasting home in their adopted nation.
