Umar Rehman Malik delighted over Bilawal Bhutto’s decision to contest from NA 196

Islamabad: Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Umar Rehman Malik this week expressed delight over PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s decision to contest from NA 196 among other constituencies.

“It’s a great day of happiness and hope for us as PPP Chairman @BBhuttoZardari has filed nomination papers to contest general elections from NA-196. The workers are excited about the fulfilment of #Bhutto’s mission,” he posted on X.

He said the PPP was the only political party that truly represents the people. PPP has historic achievements on all fronts, including strengthening of national defence through nuclear power, foundation of world-class Quaid-e-Azam University and Allama Iqbal Open University, Gomal University, he added.

“PPP spread a chain of hospitals where thousands are receiving Int’l standard treatment for free. BISP has received worldwide recognition supporting women in thousands. PPP has always taken steps to empower women, farmers, labourers & employees. For #Elections2024, vision of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is very clear, which is to lead Pakistan towards peace, prosperity, and progress,” he elaborated.

Earlier, PPP chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari submitted his nomination papers from NA-196 constituency in Shahdadkot.

NA-196 constituency has been ancestral constituency of the Bhutto family. Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto also contested elections from the same constituency. The PPP chairman also submitted his nomination papers for NA 127.
