Ambassador Jakob Linulf calls for joint efforts to prevent diabetes

Islamabad: Denmark’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jakob Linulf this week called for joint efforts to prevent diabetes.

“On this #WorldDiabetesDay, let’s acknowledge millions of ???? grappling w diabetes – nearly 33m are affected! Together with @novonordisk & @nhsrcofficial held a Multi-Stakeholder Policy Dialogue to formulate a collective call to action aimed at preventing diabetes & obesity in Pakistan,” he posted on X.

The envoy added: “A parallel dialogue unfolded in Peshawar, where we partnered with @GovtofKPK & @HmcMti to engage key provincial stakeholders w hope to encourage policy recommendations aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles also in schools & offices. Together we can strive for healthier future.”
