Canberra: Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri this week participated in the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference 2023 in Sydney.
“Participated in the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference 2023 in Sydney. Pakistan and Australia enjoy close defence and security cooperation,” the envoy posted on X.
Indo Pacific 2023 is the region’s premier commercial maritime and naval defence exposition, encompassing the Royal Australian Navy’s Sea Power Conference.
The event is a valuable opportunity to connect leaders from Australian and international defence, industry, government, academic and technological organisations.
This year’s theme is ‘Fleet 2035: Sea Power and the Future of Maritime Warfare’ and encourages critical thinking on the important role that sea power plays in supporting Australia’s national security and economic prosperity.
Military delegations from more than 40 nations and more than 700 Defence industry organisations participated in strategic conversations on the maritime domain.
