Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Faisal Karim Kundi this week urged the caretaker government to provide relief to the inflation-hit masses.
Expressing his thoughts, Kundi bemoaned the significant increase in petroleum prices. “There is a dire need to provide relief to the masses,” Kundi stated.
He was of the view that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should not be used for the sake of political engineering. “When the PPP was in power way back in 2008, none of the political leaders faced political detention,” Kundi added.
In connection with holding the elections, Kundi said, “In a bid to achieve political stability in the country, there is an urgent need to hold the elections.” “Pakistan is a nuclear country and cannot be run on an ad hoc basis,” Kundi said.
