Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese optimistic about Pakistan-Italy trade ties

Islamabad: Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese has expressed optimism about Pakistan-Italy trade ties.

In a media interaction, he said Pakistan and Italy have a potential of € 4 billion mutual trade and it was possible with joint efforts of two governments and private areas cooperation.

The Ambassador for the first time Pakistan’s exports topped € 1 billion in addition to imports in Italy, making Italy the second best transport destination in the European region.

He calculated that to achieve the €4b aim two together nations need to improve money and survey new paths of trade collaboration such as in Information and sustainable electronics.

He said Pakistan and Italy have a long background of social connections at the governmental, business-related and cultural levels.

“It is a matter of excellent delight that two together countries with its own government have consensus of views on various issues of worldwide importance, and shared collaboration thoroughly fields has happened on the rise,” he added.
