Karachi: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, achieved a significant milestone on Saturday by laying the foundation of the FPCCI Tower, a monumental project that promises to elevate Pakistan’s economic landscape.
The ceremony took place during his visit to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the country’s apex trade body.
The FPCCI Tower project holds great importance for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as it reflects the realization of the vision set forth by his late mother and two-time Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Expressing profound satisfaction, the foreign minister emphasized that this tower will serve as a pivotal platform to propel Pakistan towards a high-growth trajectory. By enabling the business, industry, and trade community to reach their full potential, the FPCCI Tower aims to foster economic development on a grand scale.
During the inauguration, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari pledged his support for the infrastructure development of the project through a public-private partnership mechanism. He highlighted the remarkable progress achieved in the recent past through such partnerships, which have contributed significantly to the well-being of the country, especially the province of Sindh.
The foreign minister further extended an invitation to an FPCCI delegation to Bilawal House, where they will engage in discussions on critical issues affecting Pakistan’s economy. These discussions will cover topics such as exports, industry, the cost of doing business, interest rates, inflation, and the overall slowed-down economic growth rate of the country.
With the foundation of the FPCCI Tower laid, Pakistan takes a giant step towards fostering economic growth, boosting trade relations, and promoting industry and business development. As the project moves forward, all eyes will be on the vision of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who aspires to create a legacy of economic prosperity for the nation.
