Ambassador Tapas Adhikari congratulates 24 mountaineers on scaling 8125 meters Nanga Parbat

Islamabad: Nepal’s Ambassador to Pakistan Tapas Adhikari this week congratulated 24 mountaineers – including Nepalese members – who scaled 8125 meters Nanga Parbat without oxygen

Four Pakistanis along with nationals from Nepal, France, Mexico and Russia were part of group that scaled Parbat.

Summiters’ included Kristin Harila (Nepal), Tenjen Sherpa aka Lama (Nepal), Pasang Nurbu Sherpa (Nepal), Nima Rinji Sherpa (Nepal), Sophie Lavaud Chaudhary, Dawa sange Sherpa (Nepal), Dendi Sherpa (Nepal), Pasang Tenji Sherpa (Nepal), Alina Pekova (Russia), Sajid Ali Sadpara (Pakistan), Tunc findik (Turkey), Nima Dorje Sherpa (Nepal), Viridiana Alvarez (Mexico), Lakpa Temba Sherpa (Nepal), Yousuf Ali (Pakistan), Imtiaz Ali Sadpara (Pakistan), Francois Amilano (France) and Ulysse Francois from France, Ming Temba Sherpa (Nepal) and Lakpa Temba (Sherpa).

In a message, Ambassador Tapas Adhikari said he was delighted to see the successful effort. He congratulated the whole team, especially the Nepalese members.
