Ali Rehman Malik, Umar Rehman Malik miss legendary father on an emotional Father’s Day

Islamabad: Ali Rehman Malik and Umar Rehman Malik this week missed their father as they marked an emotional Father’s Day.
“Missing our father today. #FathersDay,” tweeted Ali Rehman, expressing his own and his family’s sentiments.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s Senator and former interior minister Rehman Malik passed away at the age of 70, last year. The late Malik had been hospitalised due to COVID-19 and his lungs had been severely affected.
The late PPP senator had served as the interior minister of the country from 2008 to 2013 and he was considered as one of the closest aides of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The late Malik authored four books. His first book is “Modi’s War Doctrine: Indian anti-Pakistan Syndrome” detailing Narendra Modi’s RSS influenced war-mongering policies that led to serious escalations of India-Pakistan hostilities. He is survived by his widow and two sons.
