Ambassador Jakob Linulf congratulates Pakistan on election as member of ECOSOC

Islamabad: Denmark’s Ambassador to Pakistan Jakob Linulf this week congratulated Pakistan on election as a member of United Nations Economic and Social Council for a three-year term 2024-26.

“Congratulations from Denmark to Pakistan with the election by the UN General Assembly as a member of ECOSOC for a new 3-year term (2024-2026) ,” he tweeted.

Earlier, Pakistan was elected as a member of United Nations Economic and Social Council for a three-year term 2024-26 by the UN General Assembly during the elections held in New York. This will be Pakistan’s eleventh tenure as member of ECOSOC.
