Chinese diplomats sing “DOSTI” to highlight Pak- China friendship

Islamabad: Two young Chinese diplomats in Pakistan sang and performed a popular Pakistani song “Dosti” to highlight the iron-clad friendship between the two countries.
The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan uploaded a video of the two diplomats singing the Urdu song on their newly-opened social media channel on YouTube. They not only sang the full song but also performed it while wearing Pakistan’s national dress Shalwar Kameez.
The social media channel named “ISB New Youth” aims to share the ideas and prospects from young Chinese diplomats to better understand the relations between the two countries.
Various people who listened to the song expressed heartfelt appreciation for these young Chinese diplomats on their expectational efforts in promoting bilateral relations between China and Pakistan.
“Diplomatic contributions are truly commendable and have been invaluable for the promotion of relations between our countries,” they said.
The channel also covers other topics including history and current situation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), core and collaboration of Global Development Initiative (GDI) and essence of Global Security Initiative (GSI) and its similarities with Pakistan’s national security policy.
