AC Milan are one of the teams who are big admirers of Empoli star Tommaso Baldanzi but they face competition for two rivals, a report claims.
Baldanzi is viewed as one of the most exciting attacking talents that Italy have at the moment, given that he is just 20 years old and has made 18 league appearances for Empoli this season. Playing as an attacking midfielder, he has scored four goals and the big clubs in Italy are keeping tabs on his development.
According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have been watching his development this season along with Roma and Napoli, and there is no doubt that they will have been left impressed by his exploits.
The update comes after MilanNews reported that Milan have expressed their interest in the promising playmaker and could make an official player-plus-cash bid for him, in order to try and bring the €15-20m asking price down.
