Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri lauds PACA for organizing Pakistan Day event

Canberra: Pakistani High Commissioner to Australia Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri lauded the Pakistan Australian Cultural Association (PACA) for organizing the Pakistan Day celebrations in Brisbane.

“Pakistan Day Celebrations in the heart of #Brisbane City. Well done Pakistan Australian Cultural Association (PACA). Big thanks to @QldGov and @brisbanecityqld for their support,” the envoy tweeted.

PACA later said that with over 1000 Pakistanis and 3000+ foot traffic attending the Mela, “we are thrilled to have created such a unique celebration in the heart of the city.”

The Spice Villa served up delicious food such as Biryani, Kulfi, Channa Chaat, Samosay, Chai, while BBQ Tonight had Chicken Chargha, Pulao, Shami Kebab, Chicken Handi, Kheer with special Pani Puri and Dahi Puri & much more.

There were also Cultural stalls selling Hena, Calligraphy, Toys, and much more, as well as Pakistani national songs concert by rockstar Umer Syed and band, and musical art by Roohi Kashifi and group.
