Islamabad: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sajid Hussain Turi this week said that former premier Benazir Bhutto will be missed by Pakistan in every era.

“Remembering Shaheed Mohtarma #BenazirBhutto on her sad martyrdom anniversary, who laid down her life for Pakistan & its people. She fought throughout her life to save Pakistan from terrorism, anarchy & division. Her presence will be felt in every era,” he tweeted.

He said Benazir Bhutto inherited love for the country from her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, adding that both had done a lot for the prosperity and development of the country.

The minister said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto were real leaders after Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and put the country on the path of development, they said, adding that both sacrificed their lives for the people but did not compromise on their principals.

Turi said Benazir Bhutto sacrificed her life and always insisted on taking steps for the integrity and survival of Pakistan and prosperity of its people.

He said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto played an important role to unite the Muslim world and tried to improve economic conditions of the third world.
