Senator Rehman Malik missed on his birthday

Islamabad: Former Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik was remembered this week by his friends and family on his first birthday since his demise that left all his loved ones in a shock.
His sons Umar Rehman Malik and Ali Rehman Malik expressed their feeling on twitter along with the feeling of the veteran political leader.
“My father @SenRehmanMalik’s first birthday since he left us. It’s a very hard day. All are requested to pray for him,” Umar Rehman Malik tweeted .
In hi tweet, Ali Rehman Malik said: “It would have been my father’s birthday today. The first one since he left us. We always used to celebrate together as mine is tomorrow. It’s a very difficult day.”
Other friends and family member too remembered the late Senator Malik on his birthday.
Abdul Rehman Malik, born on the December 12, 1951 was a Pakistani politician and retired bureaucrat, having served as the Interior minister from being appointed on 25 March 2008 until 16 March 2013.
Prior to his entry in national politics, Malik had pursued a successful career in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), eventually becoming Director General of the FIA in 1993 until 1996.
During his stint as the DG, he coordinated successful counter-terrorist operations in the country as well as abroad. Later, Senator Malik moved to the United Kingdom and began political activity through the PPP platform.
He became senior official of the central committee of the PPP. In 2008, Senator Malik was appointed adviser and eventually appointed as Interior Minister by then Prime Minister Yousaf Gillani.
