Zardari, Sujaat stay united

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) President Chaudry Shujaat Hussain reiterated their resolve this week to support the incumbent government and stand with each other.

Zardari, the President of PPP Parliamentarians, visited the residence of Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain and held talks with the PML-Q leadership. During the meeting, Zardari pointed out that the PML-Q ministers were an important part of the cabinet.

“The federal government stands with the PML-Q and the PML-Q stands with the federal government,” Zardari was quoted as saying during the meeting. “Both the PML-Q federal ministers are an important part of our government,” he added.

Zardari praised Chaudhry Shujaat Hussian, terming him “an asset” of Pakistani politics. On the occasion, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain stressed that his party stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the federal government, keeping its promise. He assured that PML-Q would continue its support.
