Fascinating exchange with UNDP to collaborate on Danish initiative ‘Tech for Democracy’: Ambassador Lis Rosenholm

Islamabad: Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan Lis Rosenholm this week said that she had a fascinating exchange with UNDP to collaborate on Danish initiative “Tech for Democracy.”

“Pilot initiatives as this are key on how we make technology work for democracy and human rights on the ground & for marginalized groups,” she said.

The envoy said digital technologies can foster democratic and inclusive societies, digital solutions can also promote human rights, enhance people’s management and make democratic institutions stronger.

During 2022, she said, Denmark will work to keep global momentum alive and mobilise partners to work towards vision of digital future based on democratic values and human rights.
