Opposition will send PM home: Bilawal Bhutto
Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari this week started meetings with the economic experts of the country.
In this regard, Economic expert Dr. Hafeez Pasha called on the Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad on Tuesday. Issues of economic situation of the country were discussed in the meeting. Dr. Pasha presented his book “Charter of economy” to the Chair PPP.
Talking to the journalists, Chair PPP said that economic crisis is the biggest problem of the country. The people are faced with historic price-hike, unemployment and poverty after PTIMF deal.
“We have always raised this issue at every forum. The combined opposition has once again defeated the government in the National Assembly. This is good omen for the opposition and we will continue to defeat government with united opposition,” he said.
Afterwards, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with PPP parliamentarians attended the dinner hosted by the opposition leader in the National Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif at the banquet hall of the Senate of Pakistan. Chairman PPP met with other parliamentarians from different political parties and discussed political situation of the country.
Addressing the opposition parliamentarians Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the dinner said that all the opposition political parties are united under the opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif’s leadership in the parliament.
“Today the opposition once again defeated the government in the National Assembly. Only the unity of opposition can defeat this government. Pakistan People’s Party will play an active role with the combined opposition in the joint session of the parliament. Today the main issue of the people are price-hike, unemployment and abject poverty in the country. The PPP will be active at every forum where there is opposition to the government,” he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that “we will get more successes in the parliament due to the unity of the opposition. Responding to the question that is the prime minister on his way out he said that we are trying the same.”
