Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese greets Muslims on Eidul Azha

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese this week greeted the Muslims across the world, especially in Pakistan and Italy, on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
In a message, the envoy said the Eid promotes the sentiment of sacrifice among the people and this should be followed throughout the year.

Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese said the year 2021 was an unusual year and the outbreak of Covid-19 posed great challenges to all countries around the world.
Facing this unprecedented disaster, people from all corners of the world “stood up against it without fear or fall back, our firm struggles have left an unforgettable page in human history,” he added.
Ambassador Ferrarese said Pakistan and Italy had been successful to contain the pandemic but much needs to be done.
He said Italy has a large Muslim population including so many Pakistanis who have been contribution towards Italy’s progress.

On the occasion of this joyful moment, “may I once again send my best wishes. I wish Pakistan prosperity, wish Pakistani people happiness and peace, wish the friendship between Italy and Pakistan everlasting, and wish all the Muslims a happy festival.”
