Pakistani workforce recruitment in Japan underway: Zulfikar Bukhari

Islamabad: Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari has said that Pakistan will soon start sending its skilled workforce to Japan under a government-to-government Memorandum of Understanding.
Addressing the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Overseas Employment Corporation and International System Engineering and Services in Islamabad, he said recruitment process of many young workers is at final stage.
He said Inter-SES and OEC will make joint efforts to find new and lucrative job opportunities in Japan for qualified youth of Pakistan.
The Special Assistant said recruitment of 120 skilled workers, who have been imparted Japanese language by the ministry, is underway.
He said all-out efforts would be made to ensure presence of Pakistani diaspora in Japan at par with the Gulf countries as it has immense potential to meet the growing employment needs of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Japanese Ambassador Kuninori Matsuda said as of today, over 30,000 Pakistanis are living and working in Japan. He said Pakistanis are among the most constructive and law-abiding members of society in Japan.
